Landing page posts are marketing posts created specifically for search. Like brochures, they are the most effective at driving new business.
Time: 2 hours per post
Follow the Gallery Optimization recipe to create three Landing Page posts around your core niches or locations. The Landing Page post should flow something like this:
- Intro paragraph about the niche or location
- Ten to twenty of your photos across multiple sessions
- Text after each photo
- Closing paragraph
- Call to action
- Links to the individual sessions featured in the post
Here’s a great example for “Top 20 Coach Barn Wedding Photos from Shelburne Farms”: orchardcovephotography.com/coach-barn-wedding-photos-shelburne-farms/
Treat these posts like a marketing brochure that shows your best work and sells yourself. They tend to be more comprehensive than a typical session post. They should be written for a prospective client who came from Google search.
