Landing Page Post


Landing page posts are marketing posts created specifically for search. Like brochures, they are the most effective at driving new business.

Time: 2 hours per post

Directions:

Follow the Gallery Optimization recipe to create three Landing Page posts around your core niches or locations. The Landing Page post should flow something like this:

  • Intro paragraph about the niche or location
  • Ten to twenty of your photos across multiple sessions
  • Text after each photo
  • Closing paragraph
  • Call to action
  • Links to the individual sessions featured in the post

Here’s a great example for “Top 20 Coach Barn Wedding Photos from Shelburne Farms”: orchardcovephotography.com/coach-barn-wedding-photos-shelburne-farms/

Treat these posts like a marketing brochure that shows your best work and sells yourself. They tend to be more comprehensive than a typical session post. They should be written for a prospective client who came from Google search.

“Hello bride. Congratulations on your engagement! Here is what you need to know about this venue …”
