March 2018 – Core algorithm update continuing the emphasis on quality content.
March 2017 – ‘Fred’ update targets low-quality content.
February 2017 – Core algorithm update emphasizing content quality.
January 2017 – Results for sites with intrusive popups on mobile that hurt search experience were reduced in rankings.

3/7/16 – Google Posts will be a new way to get your own brand feed directly into Google results. Currently, waitlist only.
